Cow birthday

Got this cute little cow from Michael's. I just think it's sooo cute. Used bashful blue, crumb cake and a grren from SU. I am going to try and post more cards, don't even know if anyone looks at them. My mom seems to be holding her own. Got her a few large print books from the library, hope one of them will hold her attention. Snowing here in NH, we have enough . Now it can stop.

Made this card for a co worker. I used all SU supplies. Water color paper and the aqua brush. I wish I was more of an artist. Not sure of the shadowing. Oh well, I tried. Today  the anniversary of my fathers death. He died 11 years ago. Some days it seems like yesterday and other days it seems longer. The kids are coming over later for spaghetti and meatballs. Jenna bought a new IPOD touch. So she said I could have her old one. I'm not sure what they do, but I told her sure I would take it. Hope it's easy to figure out. Made this card for the Free 4 All challenge over at SCS. We had to use fruit or vegetables. So I decided to use cherries. All supplies are from SU. Can you believe that tomorrow is the 1st of December. Where did the year go? Thanks for stopping bye and have a wonderful weekend.

Frosted Candy Canes

Made this card for the free for all challenge over at scs. the challenge was to use glitter. I used SU 's red glitter paper and dazzling diamonds on these candy canes. They are from the set Scentsational Season. Hope eveyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I just came home from spending the last 4 hours in the e r. Hubby has been vomiting all day and couldn't keep any fluids in his stomach. So we made the trip, they gave him an iv, and also gave him some nausea medicine. Hopefully he will be able to sleep and feel like his old self in the morning. I was thinking it was something he ate from Thanksgiving, but no one else sick. Nothing worse than a sick man.

I made another Christmas card, slowly but surely they are getting done, even earlier than most years. This was the sketch challenge over at SCS.  I've discovered a new show. Homeland on Showtime. Christmas Trees

I hate new computers. Things I use to be able to do, I can't on this new computer. I use to open windows, now they are called tabs. Well enough complaining. I will just have to keep on trying. This card is for the color challenge over at SCS. I couldn't even ost that right. We had to use the colors: tempting turquoise, gumball green and pear pizzazz. I added some dazzling diamonds. Happy Cupcakes

Made this quick birthday card with dp. added cupcakes and some glitter and there you have it. Spent the night with my mother in the e r. She's been having trouble breathing, she's on ozygen and  she's still having trouble breathing. SO the ran some test, took some blood and did a ct scan. She has fluid on the lungs, when they get it out of there she should be able to breath better. Hope everyone had a happy halloween.

Made this card for the color challenge over at scs. Had to use cherry cobbler, old olive and or very vamilla, whisper white. The dessert was to add pearls. Today is the second day we haven't had school due to Sandy. Nothing happened in my little world. I feel so bad for the people that did have flooding and have lost power. Made this card for the sketch challange over at SCS. I got a bunch of new stuff so i had to play. Today was the 2nd day of school in second grade. so far so good, but the first few weeks are always good. it's when the newness wears off that you have to watch out for. cody and emily came over for supper, it was nice just the 3 of us. they are both tired of living out for boxes and running between 2 places. the movers come sat. to move the last of the big stuff. they have painted, washed and put things together. they are ready to be settled. soon. thanks for stopping by.

summer treats

It's been a while since I've posted. Made this card for the clean and simple challenge over at SCS. It was to make a summer treat card. So here it is. Grape popicles. Hope you like it.  I go back to school on Friday and kids come on Monday. All summer I have been cleaning the school and getting up at 5 in the morning. I took a few days off just to RELAX and do nothing. School will be a vacation because I can sleep 2 more hours. Cody and Emily bought a house and they sign the papers on Friday. THen we help them move, it's so exciting a new marriage, new home and a new life together. I'm so happy for them. Well I'm off to go and relax. Have a wonderful day.

3 little pigs

made this card for 2 challenges over at scs. the cas challenge and the color challenge. we had to use a fairly tale theme, i thought of the 3 little pigs, the color challenge was to use crumb cake, raspberry ripple, and pink pirouette. so i made the 3 little pigs or 3 different colors.
so i'm cleaning the school for the summer, have to be there at 6:00 in the morning, so that means i should be in bed NOW. so far it's not to bad, we have to wash EVERYTHING. the best part is when you get to bring it outside and wash out there.
the newlyweds are back from thier honeymoon. i guess vegas was nice, but HOT!!! now the kids are going to start looking for a house. i still can't believe my son is married.

Made this card for the clean and simple challenge over at scs. all this stuff was laying on my table. found out today i do have a summer job. i will be cleaning the school. only thing i'm not crazy about is that i have to be there at 6 in the morning. i had a busy day today, went for 2 walks, took my mother to her radiation treatment, then we went to penneys, wal-mart and then went and picked my daughter up from work. mom was in good spirits and said we should go out more. i'm always trying to get her out of the house. today was a good day. 5 more days and i will be a mother in law, can't believe that my son is getting married on saturday. went had my first manicure and pedicure, they were wonderful, i can't wait to do it again. good thing i got that summer job. thanks for stopping by, will try to post more now that school is out.

My future daughter in law needed a wedding card. She asked if she could come over a make one. I said sure, and this is what she came up with. She had so much fun. I think she did a good job.
